Returns Policy

What you can return — and how long you have to do it — depends on what you ordered.

Furniture we build for your van

Every cabinet, pod, locker, kit and lining we produce is cut and assembled to suit one specific van. That covers:

  • Full kits
  • Kitchen pods
  • Bed boxes, garage bed boxes, bed dividers
  • Top lockers, top shelves, overhead cab storage
  • Full-length cupboards, bench seats, microwave shelves
  • Salt-and-pepper racks
  • Shower / toilet cubicles, shower trays
  • Ply lining kits (LWB and MWB)

Because each piece is built to your specifications, the law treats it as bespoke. The standard 14-day cooling-off right doesn't apply — see Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

You can still cancel before we start

In the window between placing your order and us starting work — usually within 48 hours — get in touch and we'll refund in full.

Once materials are committed

After that point, materials and machine time are locked in to your van. The order can't be cancelled or refunded.

If something arrives damaged or faulty, see Faulty or damaged goods below — your statutory rights aren't affected by anything in this policy.

Branded products from our online shop

Items we resell from third-party manufacturers — Clayton Power, Dometic, Waeco, Truma, MaxxFan, Thetford, Lavanda, Scopema, CTA, wiring kits, harnesses, 8×4 ply boards, and similar — fall under the standard 14-day cooling-off right (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).

The 14 days run from the day after your order arrives.

How to return a stock item

  1. Email team@vanzadventures.co.uk with your order reference within 14 days of delivery.
  2. We arrange a tracked courier collection — return postage is on us, no cost to you.
  3. The item needs to reach us within 14 days of you notifying us, in its original packaging and unused.

Faulty or damaged goods

If anything arrives broken, damaged in transit, or develops a fault after delivery, that's on us. Email team@vanzadventures.co.uk within 30 days with a couple of photos and we'll sort it — repair, replacement, or refund, whichever fits the situation.

This applies regardless of which category your product falls into. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are fully honoured.

  • What you're returning and why
  • Photos if reporting damage or a fault

How and when refunds happen

Refunds go back to the card or payment method you originally used. Once we've checked the returned item, the money is usually with you within a week, and always within 14 days of the return arriving at the workshop.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy reduces your statutory rights as a UK consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
