Fiamma Tension Rafter Pro

Props the middle of your awning up so the fabric stays tight, with no flapping in a breeze and no rainwater pooling in the sag. The Pro is the curved, telescopic version: the curve domes the fabric so water runs off the sides. It adjusts 144 to 265cm, needs no drilling, and fits any Fiamma F45, F65 or F80 awning.

Questions and answers

Does it fit my F80S or F45S?

Yes. It fits any Fiamma F45, F65 or F80 awning that extends up to 250cm, which covers every F45S and F80S size.

What is the difference between this and the standard rafter?

The Pro is curved rather than straight, so it domes the fabric into an apex and sheds water off the sides better, which is useful on lower vans where you would otherwise drop a leg. One tip from Fiamma: avoid leaving the Pro tensioned in strong heat or direct sun for long spells, as the extra tension can stretch the awning fabric.

Do I need to drill the awning?

No. It is telescopic and simply tensions between the lead bar and the front rail, so there is no drilling and no holes in the fabric. The rubber ends also let it grip non-Fiamma awning bars.
