What it is
The NRX 60C is a 55-litre 12/24V compressor fridge in Dometic’s current NRX range, with a removable 6.1-litre freezer so it runs as a fridge, fridge-freezer or freezer.
It is a comfortable mid-size fridge for a Sprinter, Crafter or MAN TGE galley — more capacity than the 50C with the same modern electronics.

Why we sell it
The 60C is the step up from the 50C when you want a bit more space without going to a tall cabinet — same current electronics, 11 litres more storage.
- More space, same footprint height. 55 litres in a 525mm-tall cabinet — only wider/deeper than the 50C, not taller.
- Efficient and quiet. Around 0.31 kWh/24h with Eco/Boost/Silent modes to trade speed against draw and noise.
- Current generation. Winter Mode, reversible hinge and refreshed electronics, with Dometic’s UK service network behind it.
How it compares
vs the Waeco WCR60
Same 55-litre class, but the NRX adds the frameless door, three compressor modes, Winter Mode and a tidier interior. The WCR60 is the value choice.
vs an absorption (3-way) fridge
The NRX cools far better in heat, works off-level and needs no gas — just 12/24V power.

Fitting it
- Ventilation. Allow around 50mm airflow clearance (confirm in the installation manual) — inlet low, outlet high.
- Power. Rated ~55W on 12/24V; averages ~0.31 kWh/24h. Fused, correctly gauged cable to the leisure circuit.
- Door swing. Reversible hinge — decide the side before fitting.
- Off-season. Use Winter Mode and the vent-lock when the van is stored.
