Why we sell it
The WCR60 is the value 55-litre fridge: real compressor cooling without paying for the premium NRX range, and the cheapest sensible way up from the WCR50.
- Real compressor cooling. Holds temperature in heat and on a slope, unlike an absorption fridge — at the value end of the range.
- Two modes. Performance pulls temperature down fast; Quiet runs quietly enough to sleep near.
- Proper Dometic/Waeco support. A known brand with a UK service network, not a marketplace unknown.
How it compares
vs the Dometic NRX 60C
Same 55-litre class. The NRX adds a digital panel, three modes plus Winter Mode and a more refined build; the WCR60 is the value choice.
vs an absorption (3-way) fridge
The WCR60 holds temperature far better in heat, works off-level and needs no gas — just 12/24V power.

Fitting it
- Ventilation. Like any compressor fridge it needs airflow around the rear — build vents into the cabinet; the WCR datasheet does not print a clearance figure, so follow the installation manual.
- Power. 12/24V to the leisure circuit on fused, correctly gauged cable; about 50W and ~0.33 kWh/24h.
- Door. Full-width handle with a swappable matte-black panel; plan the door swing so it clears the walkway.
