What it is
The WCC18 is a 19-litre portable electric coolbox with a built-in 12/24V compressor — the smallest of the WCC range, sized for a day out, the commute or a weekend in the car or van.
Unlike a passive coolbox it actively refrigerates and can hold a true freezer temperature, and it carries like a soft cooler thanks to its padded shoulder strap.

The WCC18 needs no installation and moves between vehicle, home and campsite, but holds less and is lid-loading rather than a fixed door with shelves.
vs a passive / thermoelectric coolbox
The WCC18 holds an exact low temperature and can freeze whatever the ambient heat; passive boxes only slow warming and thermoelectric coolers cannot freeze.

Power and everyday use
- Power. Runs on 12V or 24V DC from a car, van or leisure battery. For 230V at home or on hook-up, add the optional Waeco mains adapter (sold separately).
- Battery safe. 3-stage battery protection lets you leave it plugged into the vehicle without flattening the battery.
- Set and carry. Set the temperature on the digital display; carry it on the padded shoulder strap. The lid lifts off for cleaning.
