VW Crafter Campervan Furniture

The pre-2017 Crafter shares its underpinnings with the Mercedes Sprinter of the same era. RWD only, with a slightly softer ride than its successor and well-known parts availability through both VW and Mercedes channels. Floor plans tend to work around the rear wheel arches, and our products for this generation are dimensioned to suit.

Clean-sheet VW design built on the same chassis as the MAN TGE - functionally identical for fitting purposes. FWD (most common, especially in MWB) or RWD. Adds Crafter-specific extras: dedicated ply lining sized to the new panel shape, Scopema swivel bases that respect the redesigned seat mountings, and CTA smart-kit support for the modern electrical system.

The Medium Wheelbase Crafter is the more popular conversion base for couples and small families. Easier to park, fits most domestic driveways, with enough floor space for a kitchen, bed and a chair-style toilet setup.

The Long Wheelbase adds nearly a metre of usable floor - enough to include a fixed shower cubicle, a longer bed, and a proper rear garage section. Worth the extra metre if you live in the van for extended periods or take more than two people away comfortably.
